The showcase highlighted Uzbekistan\u2019s culinary heritage while providing students with an opportunity to explore international gastronomy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The culinary presentation was inaugurated by Abdul Aziz from the Embassy of Uzbekistan, bringing an international flavour to the programme organised by ICMEI in association with the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism, supported by AHPWI and the AAFT International Skill Development Council.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The students presented Uzbek cuisine as a means of connecting visitors with the country\u2019s culture and traditions. The showcase combined culinary learning with hospitality, demonstrating the importance of food in shaping memorable travel experiences.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Aziz highlighted cuisine\u2019s role in introducing people to Uzbekistan\u2019s cultural heritage. He welcomed the students\u2019 interest in Uzbek gastronomic traditions and emphasised the value of such exchanges in strengthening friendship and understanding between India and Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT and ICMEI, emphasised that food is an important expression of cultural identity and an integral part of tourism.
