Forum, was invited by H.E. Mr. Agis Loizou, Ambassador of Republic of Cyprus to Sultanate of Oman, for a special meeting in Bahrain. The interaction further strengthened the cultural and diplomatic collaboration between India and Cyprus in the fields of film, media, and arts.
During the meeting, Dr. Marwah extended his heartfelt best wishes to H.E. Agis Loizou, who previously served as the High Commissioner of Cyprus to India. Dr. Marwah also briefed His Excellency on the various initiatives and activities undertaken by Cyprus in India, under the Indo-Cyprus Film and Cultural Forum.
Speaking about the continued cooperation, Dr. Marwah emphasized, “India and Cyprus share a rich cultural bond, and it is our endeavor to further enhance this relationship through art, cinema, and media. I appreciate the support of Ambassador Loizou in promoting this collaboration.”
This meeting highlights the ongoing efforts of Indo-Cyprus cultural diplomacy and reaffirms ICMEI’s commitment to strengthening international cultural relations.
