Noida, 29th December: The Indo-Suriname Film and Cultural Forum was officially launched during the 17th Global Film Festival at Marwah Film City, Noida. Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), nominated His Excellency Arunkoemar Hardien, Ambassador of Suriname, as the Patron of the Forum.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening and promoting relations between India and Suriname through art and culture. It serves as a platform to foster cultural exchange, collaborations in film, television, and other creative industries, and to celebrate the shared heritage of the two nations.
Speaking at the event, H.E. Arunkoemar Hardien expressed his gratitude and shared his vision for the forum. “It is a great honor to be named Patron of this significant initiative.
