Noida, July 20, 2024 – The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in collaboration with the Indo Colombia Film and Cultural Forum and AAFT University, proudly celebrated the Independence Day of Colombia at Marwah Studios. The event was a momentous occasion, dedicated to honoring Colombia’s national day and strengthening cultural bonds and mutual respect between India and Colombia.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, expressed his warm congratulations to H.E. Victor Hugo Echeverri Jaramillo, Ambassador of Colombia to India, and the citizens of Colombia on their Independence Day. “I am delighted to take this opportunity to congratulate H.E. Victor Hugo Echeverri Jaramillo and the people of Colombia on this auspicious occasion of their Independence Day, which falls on July 20th. India and Colombia share a strong friendship, and we anticipate that our relations will ascend to even greater heights,” stated Dr. Marwah during the ceremony.
Dr. Marwah highlighted the robust partnership between Colombia and ICMEI, noting Colombia’s active participation in numerous international events hosted by ICMEI. These events include the Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Literary Festival, Global Fashion Week, International Documentary Film Festival, and the International Festival of Cellphone Cinema.
