ICMEI Extends Greetings to Lesotho on Its Independence Day. Noida: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) extended its heartiest congratulations to Her Excellency Lebohang Valentine Mochaba, High Commissioner of the Kingdom of Lesotho to India, and to the people of Lesotho on the joyous occasion of their Independence Day, celebrated on 4th October.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chair of the Indo Lesotho Film and Cultural Forum, expressed his warm wishes and appreciation for the enduring friendship between India and Lesotho. “India and Lesotho share a strong and growing relationship founded on mutual respect, cooperation, and cultural exchange. ICMEI, through the Indo Lesotho Film and Cultural Forum, has been actively working hand in hand with the High Commission to strengthen these bonds through art, cinema, and culture,” said Dr. Marwah.
He further highlighted that Lesotho has been an integral part of all major international events organized by ICMEI, including the Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Fashion Week, Global Literary Festival, International Festival of Cellphone Cinema, International Documentary Film Festival, and International Food Festival, among others.
Dr. Marwah reaffirmed ICMEI’s commitment to promoting cultural diplomacy and fostering closer relations between India and Lesotho through meaningful collaborations in media and creative industries.
