Peruvian Film “Yaku Onan – Caminos Del Agua” Honoured at 14th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2026. The Peruvian film “Yaku Onan – Caminos Del Agua”, directed by Juan Duran, presented with the prestigious Award of Distinction. During the 14th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2026. Hence The film received wide appreciation from the audience for its compelling narrative and artistic excellence.
The screening of the film was formally inaugurated by Mr. Enrique Descalzi, Cultural Counsellor at the Embassy of Peru in India. The event highlighted the growing cultural engagement between India and Peru through cinema and creative arts.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chair of the Indo Peru Film and Cultural Forum and President of Marwah Studios. Hence expressed his appreciation for the meaningful participation of Peru at the festival. He emphasized that such cinematic exchanges strengthen bilateral cultural ties and create greater understanding between the people of both nations.
Such as Dr. Shahi Shaika, Dean of the School of Photography, presented the memento and the Award of Distinction to the Peruvian film on behalf of the management of the festival.
Speaking on the occasion, Cultural Counsellor Enrique Descalzi thanked the festival authorities for showcasing Peruvian cinema on an international platform. He appreciated the efforts of the Indo Peru Film and Cultural Forum in promoting cultural diplomacy and fostering artistic collaboration between Peru and India.
The festival once again reaffirmed its commitment to global cinematic dialogue and international friendship through the powerful medium of film.
