New Delhi: In celebration of 75 years of diplomatic relations between Ireland and India, the Embassy of Ireland organized a special event featuring a talk by Dr. Kate O’Malley, Historian and Assistant Editor at the Royal Irish Academy at India International Centre, New Delhi. H.E. Kevin Kelly, Ambassador of Ireland to India, introduced Dr. O’Malley and highlighted the significance of this milestone for both nations.
Dr. Kate O’Malley shared insights into the historical ties and shared values between Ireland and India, reflecting on the evolving friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Indo-Ireland Film and Cultural Forum, was present at the occasion. Speaking to the press, Dr. Marwah emphasized the role of cultural and cinematic exchange in strengthening India-Ireland relations, expressing his commitment to fostering deeper connections through the Indo-Ireland Film and Cultural Forum.
